Stone Cottage is situated at the entrace to the Rocky Woods, a beautiful woodland, within which, lie multiple short to medium length walking paths, leading to beds of bluebells, babbling brooks and sandstone quarries.
Ruabon village contains all the local amenities you should require and is a scenic twenty minute walk, or five minute drive away. There you can find a local Nisa shop, Aldi supermarket, Costa Coffee, Subway, chip shop, post office and chemist. The village is also host to several pubs including the award winning real ale pub, The Bridge End.
Ruabon has a bus service that can carry you to Wrexham, Llangollen and surrounding villages. There's also the choice of travelling by train and the nearest station heading to Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Aberystwyth, Cardiff, Chester, Holyhead, the welsh coast and all stops in between, is conveniently located within Ruabon village.
Llangollen

Wrexham is also infused with beautiful country parks, great walks and national trust treasures such as Chirk Castle and Erddig.
It is also a just a twenty minute drive from the Roman walled city of Chester.
